The FromLucy team are slightly gutted that it's pretty much been non-stop rain for the latter part of July and early August, so we decided to give all of you all of our top tips on what to do and where to go in Devon!

The 'kids' of the studio (they're 21, 22 and 23) all screamed "WOODLANDS" when we were discussing this topic. Although it's classed as a theme park, it's got a MASSIVE indoor play area which is full of ball pools, a triple drop slide and a fab mini zoo! Take a look and book your tickets here: https://www.woodlandspark.com/

Another place is something that you'll find all up and down the country, but it's new to Plymouth! Adrenalin is a place where you get to challenge your inner ninja warrior with a series of assault courses, loads of trampolines and a lots of other activities. It's great fun for all the family and you can even book birthday parties there too! http://www.adrenalinleisure.co.uk/

Our next suggestion is over in Bovey Tracy. A FREE attraction for kids and families, where you'll all be entertained for hours by an array of marble runs, animated animals and a giant floating marble! For the slightly older generation, there's also a tour where you can see the site's historic trail with museums of glass, games and marbles. Check it out here: http://www.houseofmarbles.com/

A little bit on the spooky side but another great place is Kents Cavern. It's one of Britain's best showcaves! On your visit you'll go back to a time when the cave was home to ancient humans, sheltering from extreme weather, making fires and hunting Ice Age animals. A fab place for the kids to tell their stories at show and tell when they return to school! http://www.kents-cavern.co.uk/caves

With prices starting from just £7, this is a great activity for the whole family, young and hold! The Paint Hub is pottery painting fun in Dawlish Warren, where the whole family can get creative together. Once your artwork masterpieces are complete, they'll be glazed and fired in their kiln for you to take home! https://www.painthub.co.uk/
