Why I created this book, from author and illustrator Lucy Tapper: I created My Mum / Our Mum because mums rarely stop moving long enough to be celebrated. They are constantly adapting. Constantly organising. Constantly giving. I wanted to write a book that gently pauses that momentum and says, look at everything you do. Look at everything you are. A way of celebrating the woman and the mum in one story, with a good dose of humour and teasing thrown in for good measure!
